There are far more great scripts written than there is money to produce.

Two billion dollars a year is spent on completed films that no one will ever see because they did not find a distributor. Even more is spent on development and the film is never made because they could not achieve financing. Our program will help you understand this thorough process on a practical level.

It’s a reality that studios are now more in the business of studio rental and distribution networks, and carry a minimal slate of their own pictures per year.

When you bring a product to a studio, they want a no-risk deal. It’s a sad fact that they are no longer in the business of providing funding for production and P&A, print and advertising.

They call it “development hell” for one reason. You can do whatever it takes to bring a film together, but unless you have achieve financing and greenlight, you are on hold indefinitely.
